There are differences in maintaining indoor and outdoor gardening. Sun light is one factor that different, to maintain the indoor gardening, people must set the condition so that indoor plants get enough sunlight. Choose plants that need minimum to medium sunlight, like Philodendrons. After buy grown plants, it will need some time to make it adaptable to the new house condition.
